Booking Information/Terms and conditions...

Bookings are priced from Saturday to Saturday, however if you would prefer to arrive and depart on a different day please ring us for availability and cost, as a rule this is usually the same as the corresponding Saturday to Saturday rate. Please note we are open for Christmas 2011 and New Year 20011/12 with the bookings from Wednesday to Wednesday.

Hazel Cottage sleeps four, sorry we can not cater for any more, however if you are a couple on your own, a discount is available if you occupy only one of the bedrooms during your stay. Please advise us of the number in your party including how many adults/children.

The cottage is no smoking and sorry we do not allow pets.

We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay at Hazel Cottage, including, bedding, towels, tea towels and washing and cleaning materials. All you need to bring is your food and personal items.

Heating is provided by night storage heaters and a woodburning stove, with an intial supply of logs included in the rent, as is electricity up to 200 units. We leave a note of the electicity meter readings immediately before your arrival, with access for you to check your useage throughout the week, with a final reading being taken immediately after your departure. Any units used above 200 (67 day units, 133 night units) will be deducted from the returnable portion of your deposit at 30p per unit day and 6p per unit night (current rate to us at January 2012, but is subject to change). Extra logs can be supplied by request, for a small additional charge.

Bookings will be confirmed after receipt of a £60 deposit which will also act as the additional fuel/damage deposit, this will be returned to you after your stay, less any charges for electricity above the 200 unit allowance or deductions for damage. The amount for the tariff for your chosen week falls due six weeks before your arrival. If you are making a late booking we request immediate payment in full (The weekly tariff plus the £60 returnable additional fuel/security deposit).

If you cancel less than four weeks before your holiday start date you will lose your deposit.

Payment can be made by cheque or debit card (Visa Debit, Maestro/Switch, Solo) Payment by credit card can be accepted but is subject to a 2% transaction charge.
